2026 Fundamentals Training
At Fundamentals of Biblical Counseling, you will receive 30 hours of quality classroom instruction. This training is designed for those who desire to become more effective people helpers, whether in formal counseling settings or everyday conversations.
Completion of these 30 hours of training meets the classroom instruction requirements of those pursuing counseling certification from the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. The Fundamentals course is taught by the staff of MBCC, with help from guest presenters.
Weekend I - Basics of Biblical Counseling (10 Hours of Training)
Basics of Biblical Counseling provides a carefully thought-out introduction to biblical counseling. In Basics, you will receive instruction that will equip you with a solid biblical counseling foundation to build upon.
Weekends II & III - Targeted Biblical Counseling Training (20 Hours of Training)
This targeted training enables students to practically apply the principles learned in Basics to common counseling situations. Our goal over these two weekends is to equip you with tools to counsel the people God brings into your life more effectively, in both formal and informal settings.
